Elite chest infix farming
Level 65+ elite areas with eligible Elite Ancient and Elite Supply Chests. Choose an available elite chest run that includes those chest types.
Before you go
- Access to level 65+ elite areas and a combat-ready build for their enemies.
- A group for the selected elite chest run if the area is too dangerous to clear alone.
- Inventory space to collect gear and a build target for evaluating drops.
Farming steps
- Choose the gear slot, weapon, or set-bonus infix you want to improve.
- Join an elite chest run that includes Elite Ancient or Elite Supply Chests.
- Stay with the group as it clears enemies and opens chests in the chosen area.
- Inspect chest drops for infix items and compare their bonuses and sockets with your target build.
- Keep useful pieces and salvage gear that does not help your build.
- If a piece is eligible and at least 700 Gear Score, consider upgrading it with Umbral Crystals toward the available cap.
- Repeat the chest run when you still need a better or missing piece.
- Check the chest type before investing time in a route; not every elite chest is recorded as an infix source.
- Set a specific gear goal first so randomized drops are easier to assess.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeatable through elite chest runs while the game remains available. Infix drops are chance-based, and the recorded information does not establish a guaranteed item or fixed drop rate.
Common mistakes
- Treating all elite chests as infix sources: prioritize the eligible Elite Ancient and Elite Supply types.
- Expecting a specific piece from one run: inspect each result and continue only while the target is useful.
- Upgrading every infix immediately: compare its sockets and bonuses with your build before spending Umbral Crystals.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have a piece that serves the intended build, or switch to a different gear source if the remaining chest drops no longer address your target.
