WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Forest of Soul Shrine in Tokaido: travel south past the initial enemies to the Kappa in the central pond. Spend Teardrops at the Eternal Rift Sudama.
This route turns a named Kappa encounter into Yokai Teardrops, then converts the drops into the memorandum you need. Teardrop quantities and Sudama stock can vary, so check the shop before farming and stop when you have enough for the displayed purchase. The Eternal Rift remains the destination for spending; this is a resource loop, not a floor progression method.
Reach Tokaido and unlock the Forest of Soul Shrine.
Have access to the Eternal Rift Sudama shop.
Know which available memorandum or other purchase you are saving for.
Visit the Eternal Rift Sudama and check the current item stock and Teardrop cost.
Fast travel to Forest of Soul Shrine in Tokaido.
Head south past the initial enemies until you reach the central pond.
Defeat the Kappa and collect any Yokai Teardrops it drops.
Return to the Shrine and rest to reset the encounter.
Repeat the pond run as needed, then travel to the Eternal Rift.
Trade Teardrops for the desired available memorandum or other item.
Farming tips
The Kappa route and Shrine reset form a short repeat loop; the source does not establish a guaranteed Teardrop amount per kill.
Check the Sudama’s displayed cost first so you can set a concrete collection target.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the southbound Shrine-to-pond route, resting at the Shrine after each defeat. This is a repeatable farm; drops and shop inventory should be checked in-game.
Common mistakes
Assuming every Kappa gives a fixed number of Teardrops: collect what drops and plan around the displayed shop price.
Farming before checking the Sudama stock: inspect the needed item and cost first.
Forgetting the reset: rest at the Shrine before returning to the pond for another attempt.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have enough Teardrops for the purchase you want, or switch to another source if the shop does not currently offer a useful item.
