Fossil Island Birdhouse Runs
The four birdhouse sites on Fossil Island.
Before you go
- Complete Bone Voyage and meet the Hunter level for your intended birdhouse.
- Logs, hammer, chisel, clockworks and seeds for the houses.
- Inventory space for collected nests and seeds.
Farming steps
- Prepare logs and tools for the birdhouses you can use.
- Travel to Fossil Island and visit each of the four sites.
- Build a birdhouse at each site and add seeds to bait it.
- Leave to do other activities while the houses become ready.
- Return to each site and dismantle the ready house to collect its contents.
- Replace each house and keep useful tree seeds for later Farming runs.
- Use the return trip to collect all four houses rather than checking only one site.
- Save tree seeds that support your Farming goals instead of discarding them.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the build, wait and collect cycle. Returns depend on readiness; nest and seed quantities are not fixed.
Common mistakes
- Forgetting clockworks or tools; prepare the full kit before travelling.
- Returning before houses are ready; use the interval for other activities.
- Leaving houses dismantled after collection; rebuild and bait them to begin the next cycle.
When to stop or switch
Stop once all four sites have been collected and reset, or when you have enough nests and seeds for your current goals.
