The Fractured Archive entrance by the Ancient Guthixian Temple near the Chasm of Tears beneath Lumbridge.
Before you go
- Membership and completion of While Guthix Sleeps.
- A capable group of 2–8 players, or a solo setup for a punishing scaled challenge.
- Combat gear, food and boosts suited to the encounters your party plans to face.
Farming steps
- Travel to the Archive entrance and use the staging area to gather your party and organize supplies.
- Agree on roles, a route and how the team will communicate during mechanics.
- Enter and defeat the Archive Guardian, then work through the chosen branch encounters.
- Use the mid-raid resupply opportunity to prepare for the remaining fights.
- Defeat Ocellus to complete the run, then claim and review the rewards.
- Discuss deaths, supply use and mechanics with the team before another attempt.
- A group of 3–5 is the recommended range; choose teammates who can divide encounter responsibilities.
- Save enough food and boosts for the final encounter instead of spending everything early.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat completed raids to pursue unique rewards; an individual clear does not guarantee a unique drop.
Common mistakes
- Entering without assigning roles; discuss responsibilities before the first encounter.
- Treating a wipe as a cheap practice attempt; bring supplies you can afford to lose.
- Using all boosts early; plan your inventory for the whole run.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you have the equipment you were pursuing or when clear consistency and supply costs make another attempt a poor use of your session.
