- Complete A Kingdom Divided and speak with the Voice of Yama to access the encounter.
- A capable solo or duo setup for a multi-phase fight.
- Combat supplies and familiarity with movement, glyphs and void flares.
Farming steps
- Travel to Yama’s Domain and enter with supplies for the encounter.
- Watch the arena and learn how glyph mechanics affect safe positioning.
- Move in response to void flares and phase changes instead of focusing only on damage.
- Continue through each phase until Yama is defeated.
- Collect the reward and check whether it advances your Oathplate or other item target.
- Repeat standard attempts to improve consistency before taking on contracts.
- Prioritize surviving mechanics while learning; a clean kill is more useful than a risky damage push.
- Keep your reward goal specific; a kill does not promise a particular unique.
Repeat, collect and use
Yama can be fought repeatedly. Oathplate shards, pieces and other unique rewards are chance-based.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring glyph or flare movement while attacking; respond to arena mechanics first.
- Adding contracts before learning the normal phases; build a reliable standard clear first.
- Expecting a specific item from each kill; continue only while the target remains worthwhile.
When to stop or switch
Pause when mechanics cause repeated deaths or supplies run low; try contracts after the standard encounter is reliable.
