Recurring Farming Runs
Fossil Island Hardwood Tree Runs
Put Fossil Island hardwood patches into a longer-interval Farming experience routine.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Fossil Island Hardwood Tree Runs
Hardwood tree patches on Fossil Island.
Before you go
- Completion of Bone Voyage and access to Fossil Island.
- Farming level and mahogany or another suitable hardwood sapling for the patch.
- A spade and travel items for returning to the island.
Farming steps
- Confirm Bone Voyage is complete and gather the hardwood saplings you intend to plant.
- Travel to Fossil Island and locate the accessible hardwood patches.
- Plant a sapling in each patch you are using.
- Consider appropriate protection or payment for the tree before leaving.
- Allow the hardwood trees to mature while pursuing other activities.
- Return after the growth cycle, harvest the trees for Farming experience and decide whether to replant.
- Put the return visit on a broad Farming checklist; a long growth cycle makes same-day checks unhelpful.
- Plant only as many patches as your sapling supply and travel plan support.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat after each hardwood tree matures and is harvested. This is a long-interval, limited harvest loop.
Common mistakes
- Attempting the route without Bone Voyage; unlock Fossil Island first.
- Returning before trees mature; wait for the growth cycle to finish.
- Planting without considering protection or the return trip; prepare both before leaving.
When to stop or switch
Stop after all ready hardwood trees are harvested and replanted, or when you have no saplings for another cycle.
