Before you go
- Know the exact item name from a crafting or progression need.
- Have the current scenario and map available for checking access.
- Keep a note of the target quantity or recipe that uses the item.
Farming steps
- Read the recipe, task, or upgrade and write down the exact resource name.
- Search the resource index for that item and note the listed resource type or source category.
- Compare likely sources with your active scenario and accessible map regions.
- Choose a field marker route or territory production method that matches the item and is currently available.
- Collect a practical amount, then return to the recipe or station that consumes it.
- Update your plan if the in-game interface shows the source or recipe is unavailable.
- Use the index to narrow the source category, then verify the actual option in your active scenario.
- Prefer a reachable route that satisfies the immediate recipe instead of gathering broadly without a target.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat this planning loop for each new resource goal; collection itself may be a renewable route or limited activity depending on the source.
Common mistakes
- Searching a related but different item name: copy the exact resource label from the recipe.
- Assuming one source applies in every scenario: check map access and current options.
- Gathering without knowing where the item is used: set a recipe or stock target before the trip.
