Where to farm

Proving Grounds is a side arena in the Worldslayer Trial of Tarya Gratar with a boots-focused Trove. Use it when boots are the slot you want to improve; its reward is a chance at useful gear, not a promise of a particular item or rarity.
Own Worldslayer and complete its campaign to unlock the Trial.
Start a Trial run and reach a Crossroads where the route to Proving Grounds is available.
Have enough survivability and damage for the arena at your chosen Apocalypse Tier.
At each Crossroads, open the route map and locate Proving Grounds.
Check that the boots slot is still the priority for your build.
Choose the route leading to Proving Grounds rather than a different side room.
Clear the arena encounter and use its Trove reward.
Inspect each boot for level, attributes, rarity, and its Apocalypse third mod.
Keep pieces that improve your setup; dismantle only items you have checked and do not need.
Return to the route map and continue toward another useful room or the final encounter.
Farming tips
A slot-focused Trove is most useful when you have a specific boots build gap; compare the actual item before replacing equipped gear.
If the fight is unreliable at your current tier, lower the tier until you can clear consistently and process more rewards.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat by starting another Trial and routing to Proving Grounds when the room is available. The room can be revisited across runs; individual drops are random.
Common mistakes
Expecting the Trove to guarantee a Legendary or a particular mod: it focuses the slot, so evaluate the item you receive.
Taking the route automatically even after boots stop being useful: switch to another slot or the main route when your need changes.
Dismantling a promising Apocalypse item immediately: inspect its third mod and attributes first.
When to stop or switch
Stop targeting Proving Grounds when you have boots that meet your build needs, or switch to another Trove if a different armor slot becomes the priority.
