WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Pacu Farming

Use a liquid tank accessible to duplicants for setup and maintenance. Keep aquatic handling equipment appropriate to Pacu near the enclosure.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Locate Pacu in a water biome and inspect the enclosure options before moving any fish.
  2. Prepare a tank with sufficient liquid space and duplicant access for the available aquatic equipment.
  3. Move Pacu into the tank using critter handling tasks and keep the enclosure from becoming overcrowded.
  4. Use a Fish Feeder or other suitable aquatic equipment to feed a wild Pacu when taming is the goal.
  5. Check the animal status and available equipment to determine whether it is wild or tame and what care it needs.
  6. Collect eggs or edible output using the colony’s critter handling and processing route.
  7. Remove excess eggs or critters, and review tank capacity before adding more fish.

Repeat, collect and use

A managed Pacu population can provide recurring eggs or edible output while liquid space, feed, and handling remain suitable. Collect outputs and control population; any wild Pacu source you harvest directly is limited to the fish present.

Common mistakes

  • Using land-ranch assumptions for aquatic critters; install aquatic-specific feeding and handling equipment.
  • Letting eggs accumulate until the tank is crowded; collect or route excess eggs and critters.
  • Taming without a feed plan; confirm suitable feeding access before relying on long-term production.

When to stop or switch

Stop adding Pacu when tank space or feed becomes constrained. Reduce or redirect the population if fish care and output collection demand more resources than the colony can support.
