Housing Plot garden; purchase soil plots from Badruu’s Gardening Guild store.
Before you go
- Unlock Gardening and place soil plots on your Housing Plot.
- Have seeds for a small first planting and leave inventory space for the harvest.
- Choose a crop goal, such as food, seed stock, or processing materials.
Farming steps
- Buy soil plots from Badruu’s Gardening Guild store and place them together where every tile is reachable.
- Choose seeds that suit your goal; check each crop’s growth and neighboring-crop effects before planting.
- Set out crops so each intended buff reaches the crops that need it, accounting for the full 3-by-3 footprint of an apple tree.
- Plant seeds in the prepared tiles and water the plot.
- Return to handle weeds and any further watering as they appear.
- Harvest mature crops and sort them by intended use: cooking, requests, sale, seed conversion, or preserves.
- Keep enough seeds to replant the bed, then adjust the layout if your crop mix or priorities change.
- Sketch the pattern before sowing; adjacency depends on neighboring tiles, so a crowded layout can miss the buff you intended.
- Leave access around larger crops and keep some inventory space free for a complete harvest.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the planting, care, harvest, and replant cycle whenever you have seeds and want another crop batch.
Common mistakes
- Planting before checking adjacency: confirm which crop gives the desired buff and where each target tile sits.
- Treating an apple tree as a single tile: reserve its full 3-by-3 footprint when planning.
- Using every harvest immediately: set aside seed stock before cooking, selling, or processing the remainder.
When to stop or switch
Stop expanding when you cannot comfortably tend the current tiles, or switch crops when your next need is seeds, food, or a specific processing input.
