Mining Nodes
Mining nodes across Kilima and Bahari Bay, including Palium-bearing areas in Bahari.
Before you go
- Obtain a Pick and unlock Mining.
- Upgrade the tool when pursuing node tiers it cannot break.
- Leave inventory space for stone, ore, and related drops.
Farming steps
- Choose the resource you need and travel to the region where its nodes appear.
- Use the Pick on accessible Copper or Iron nodes in Kilima or Bahari, collecting the full output.
- When seeking Palium, search Bahari areas associated with its nodes, including cliffs and cave entrances.
- Break nodes your tool can handle and collect their drops before moving on.
- Keep Palium and other needed materials for recipes; sort common surplus when back at home.
- Visit Hodari’s Mining Guild to turn in eligible skill progression and check available guild options.
- Return to cleared areas later, allowing time for nodes to respawn before another pass.
- Use shared callouts when available to coordinate node locations, but verify the material before detouring.
- A tool upgrade matters when the target tier requires it; do not spend a trip trying to break a node your Pick cannot handle.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat mining passes whenever you need ore or stone; cleared nodes respawn after a delay, so a return is not immediate.
Common mistakes
- Chasing Palium in Kilima: target Bahari for Palium-bearing areas.
- Ignoring tool capability: upgrade before planning around tougher nodes.
- Spending all rare ore on incidental crafting: reserve the amount needed for your current recipe first.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your crafting reserve is met or inventory is full; switch regions if the material you still need occurs elsewhere.
