Garden Crop Harvest

Before you go

Buy seeds from Badruu’s Gardening Guild store and place soil plots.
Know whether the harvest is meant for cooking, seed conversion, sale, or preserves.
Have room to collect the mature crops.

Choose a crop goal and check its growth and neighbor-buff properties before planting.
Place seeds so the chosen buff reaches the crops you want to improve.
Water the garden and tend weeds as they appear while crops grow.
Check your inventory and processing storage before harvesting; ripe crops can wait until you are ready.
Collect mature produce and set aside any portion needed for requests or meals.
Send an intentional portion to the Seed Collector or Preserves Jar if that processing route serves your goal.
Save enough seeds to replant the same layout, then use remaining produce according to your priorities.

Inspect starred crops before processing; preserve valuable items for the use you actually need.
Harvesting can be delayed while you prepare storage or wait for a companion bonus to be available.

Repeat for each planted batch; replant when you have seed stock and want another harvest.

Picking before deciding how to use the crop: reserve food, requests, and seed needs first.
Breaking the adjacency layout during replanting: mark the pattern and restore it after harvest.
Processing every crop the same way: compare seed, cooking, and preserves needs before committing.

Stop harvesting once the current batch meets your planned goal; leave other ripe crops until you have a use or storage space for them.
