Where to farm
Shop > Supply Shop, for a currently listed exact material or conversion that matches the Construct’s promotion requirement.
Direct Resource stages are the default for promotion materials; an exchange can make sense when only a few items remain and the current Supply Shop offers the exact material or a valid lower-tier conversion. Read the promotion screen, check the live exchange ratio and currency cost, and buy only the amount that finishes the planned step. Shop stock and terms should be verified in the client.
A Construct promotion has a small remaining material shortage.
The Supply Shop is available and lists the exact item or a confirmed conversion.
The required shop currency is available without sacrificing a higher-priority purchase.
Open the Construct profile and count the exact materials still needed for the next promotion.
Check whether a Resource > Material stage remains a practical direct source for that item.
Open Shop > Supply Shop and inspect the current inventory and conversion terms.
Confirm the offered item or lower-tier conversion produces the exact required material.
Compare the cost with your available currency and other useful shop stock.
Exchange only enough to cover the remaining shortfall.
Return to the Construct profile, verify the count, and promote when every requirement is satisfied.

Use exchange for a small gap rather than replacing a repeatable direct farm without checking costs.
Review conversion terms each time; names, costs, and stock may vary by version.
Repeat, collect and use
Exchange is limited by current stock, currency, and any purchase caps. It is not an unlimited material farm; direct stage farming can be repeated if the shop cannot cover the need.
Common mistakes
Exchanging a lower-tier item without verifying it converts into the required one; inspect the terms.
Spending currency when direct farming is the better option for a large shortage; compare first.
Buying beyond the amount needed for the planned promotion; count the profile shortage.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the promotion shortage is covered or the exchange is unavailable or poor value; use the matching Resource stage for any remainder.
