A specific Rune Armor craft, enhancement, enchantment, or engraving target.

Speak with the mansion research staff and take an available Deep Level research assignment.
Hunt its listed targets and return with the requested research data.
Use the Research Manager exchange to review the available material conversions.
Check your reputation tier at the Rune Equipment Manager and note which services are unlocked.
Bring the required converted materials to the Rune Fusion Manager or relevant equipment service.
Complete the craft or enhancement only after verifying the item and material costs in the NPC dialogue.

Reputation unlocks services progressively; crafting can become available before enchanting and engraving, so recheck the manager after turn-ins.
Deep Layer disconnections return characters to their save location; avoid carrying materials you cannot afford to lose.
