Blood Ritual NPC and the season’s Crucible in the Nexus, then the dungeon or Realm activity you choose to run.
The Halloween Blood Ritual lets players trade health or damage for a different combat benefit, with a loot boost available to the bravest option. It stacks with Crucible effects, and the Crucible reduces healing from pets, consumables, and outside sources by 30%. These are meaningful survivability costs in a permanent-death game. The ritual is listed as available through November 3, 2026.

Bring a character whose healing and damage profile can tolerate the selected tradeoff.
Go to the Nexus and inspect the Blood Ritual choices at its NPC.
Compare the listed health, damage, and loot effects with your intended farm.
If you want Crucible as well, read its healing reduction and decide whether your character can manage it.
Select the ritual and optional Crucible only after understanding their combined effect.
Enter the intended dungeon or Realm activity and play conservatively under the selected modifiers.
Check the result and reward after the run, then reconsider the choice before the next attempt.
Farming tips
The ritual stacks with Crucible effects, so evaluate the combined survival impact rather than choosing each modifier in isolation.
A loot increase does not make a risky run worthwhile if the lost healing or health leaves the character unsafe.
Repeat, collect and use
The choice can be used for repeated eligible runs while it remains available in the season. Blood Ritual access is time-limited through November 3, 2026; treat each run as a separate decision.

Choosing the loot option without checking its health cost; read the current NPC description first.
Adding Crucible automatically; account for its 30% healing reduction in the same decision.
Repeating a modifier after a close call; switch to a safer setup before the next run.
When to stop or switch
Stop using the ritual when the added risk outweighs its reward, your target is acquired, or the event option expires. Switch to an unmodified farm if survivability is the priority.
