WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Post-boss area after regular Undead Lair, when its legacy portal roll succeeds.
A Legacy Dungeon portal can spawn after defeating the regular Undead Lair boss. The official portal notice lists a 25% chance for this dungeon. The older version is a separate continuation with its own challenge and rewards. This article covers the legacy portal route, while the Heroic Undead Lair event guide concerns a different rotation-dependent seasonal activity.
Bring a character prepared for its boss and a possible follow-up dungeon.
Know which legacy reward you want before spending time on repeated attempts.
Enter regular Undead Lair and clear the rooms that lead toward its boss.
Defeat the boss and check the post-boss area for the Legacy Dungeon portal.
If no portal appears, collect regular rewards and leave or seek another Undead Lair.
If it appears, check health and supplies before entering the legacy version.
Advance through the legacy encounter, responding to its mechanics rather than assuming it matches the regular layout.
Defeat its boss and inspect the drops for your target.
Exit safely and decide whether another regular clear is still worthwhile.
Farming tips
The listed 25% rate describes a chance, not guaranteed access after a set number of boss kills.
Treat the legacy route as an optional extension; you can finish the regular farm and leave.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat regular Undead Lair clears while you want another portal chance. The portal and any specific legacy reward are not guaranteed; each run is another attempt.
Common mistakes
Confusing Heroic Undead Lair event rotation with the regular dungeon’s legacy portal; confirm which portal you entered.
Leaving without checking the post-boss area; the legacy portal appears after the boss.
Entering with depleted health; save the continuation for a character able to finish it.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting the legacy target or when the cost and risk of another attempt exceed its value. Continue regular Undead Lair only if its own rewards are useful.
