Defeat Nightmare for Dreamer’s Mana and Repulsor
The final boss encounter in the campaign, after progressing through the Labyrinth to the Dreamer and Nightmare.
Before you go
- Progress the campaign to the Dreamer and Nightmare encounter.
- Bring upgraded weapons and healing supplies for a long boss fight.
- If Repulsor is your goal, leave room in your inventory for the boss material and return to Ward 13 afterward.
Farming steps
- Enter the final boss arena and defeat the Dreamer to begin the Nightmare phase.
- During Nightmare’s arena phase, watch for the transition into the dream dimension.
- In the dream dimension, kill Root enemies to build the damage buff before leaving.
- Use the return portal when ready; the accumulated buff makes your attacks more effective against Nightmare.
- Attack Nightmare while the buff is active, then repeat the dimension trip if you need another damage window.
- Defeat Nightmare and collect Dreamer’s Mana from the encounter reward.
- Return to Ward 13 and speak to McCabe to check and craft Repulsor using Dreamer’s Mana and the displayed requirements.
- Prioritize safely killing Root enemies in the dream dimension so you return with a useful damage buff.
- Check McCabe’s Repulsor recipe before spending materials on other crafts.
Repeat, collect and use
The reward comes from defeating the campaign’s final boss. To earn it again, replay or reroll the campaign and complete the encounter again; it is not a repeatable Survival payout.
Common mistakes
- Attacking Nightmare without building the dream-dimension damage buff; kill Root enemies before returning to the arena.
- Expecting Dreamer’s Mana from defeating the Dreamer alone; continue through the Nightmare fight and defeat the final phase.
- Treating the material as a guaranteed Repulsor craft without checking McCabe’s displayed recipe and costs; gather any remaining requirements first.
When to stop or switch
Stop after collecting Dreamer’s Mana if Repulsor is your target; continue the campaign only if you want to complete that playthrough, or replay it later for another copy.
