WHERE & HOW TO FARM Where to farm Ward 13 World Stone > Boss Rush; trade Corrupted Shards with Dwell
Boss Rush is a repeatable source of Corrupted Shards through its post-run rewards. Some arena chests may also contain a shard, but drops are not guaranteed. Dwell at Ward 13 uses shards in corrupted weapon crafts, so check the exact recipe and inventory cap before starting another run.
Before you go Unlock Boss Rush in The Dark Horizon update. Check Dwell’s corrupted weapon recipes for your target. Confirm your current shard inventory before farming. At Ward 13, speak with Dwell and identify the corrupted weapon variant you want. Note the shard cost and compare it with your current inventory. Open Boss Rush from the World Stone and choose a sequence that fits your available time. Defeat bosses and open arena chests, which may contain Corrupted Shards. Complete the selected sequence and claim its post-run rewards. Check the inventory and return to Dwell to craft the weapon when you have enough shards. Farming tips The shard inventory has a cap, so avoid continuing to collect when you are already at the limit. Aberration events are another possible source if you want a break from Boss Rush. Repeat, collect and use Repeat runs for more chances at shards, subject to the inventory cap; neither chests nor a given run should be treated as a guaranteed shard payout.
Common mistakes Assuming every completed run awards a shard: inspect actual rewards before planning the next craft. Letting shards sit at the cap: craft a desired weapon before continuing to collect. Confusing Corrupted Shards with Corrupted Lumenite: they serve different crafting needs. When to stop or switch Stop when you have the shard cost for your chosen weapon, then spend them at Dwell before resuming if you want another variant.
