Where to farm
Losomn: obtain the Assassin Dagger in Council Chamber’s Council Tribunal and craft it with Nimue; then fight the Red Prince in Gilded Chambers in Campaign or Adventure Mode.
This is a named Losomn equipment target with a strict final-hit condition. First obtain the Assassin Dagger quest item from the Council Tribunal inside Council Chamber, then take it to Nimue instead of turning it over as evidence so she can craft the Assassin’s Dagger melee weapon. Find the Red Prince in Gilded Chambers, begin the fight rather than paying a full tribute, and use the dagger for the killing blow. You can weaken him with another weapon, but switch to the dagger before the final hit; simply carrying or equipping it is not the documented condition. This is a reward route, not a repeatable boss-chest material farm. If you want the Council’s evidence reward too, it is a separate outcome that requires the quest dagger, so decide which item matters before handing it to anyone.

In Council Chamber, use the magic mirror in its final section to enter Council Tribunal. Collect the three High Councilor’s Keys at the seat bases and place each into its matching reflected pedestal to open the throne room.
Climb the side of the throne and retrieve the Assassin Dagger quest item from the king’s neck.
Take the quest item to Nimue at Nimue’s Retreat and choose the craft option for the Assassin’s Dagger melee weapon; keep it instead of surrendering it to the Fae Council as evidence.
Reach Gilded Chambers in Losomn and speak to the Red Prince. Refuse tribute or offer fewer than three Crimson King Coins to start combat; a full tribute skips the fight.
Fight with your normal build while preserving a safe opening for the final hit. Reduce his health carefully, then switch to the Assassin’s Dagger before he is nearly defeated.
Land the final blow on the Red Prince with the dagger itself and check the reward/inventory for the Crown of the Red Prince.
If the crown appears in your inventory, confirm the pickup and end the route; the dagger and crown are separate items.
Farming tips
The wiki’s condition is the final blow with the dagger; having it equipped earlier is not enough.
Do not offer three or more Crimson King Coins if you want this kill reward, since the full tribute avoids the boss fight.
Repeat, collect and use
The crown is a boss reward for the current Losomn roll. If the Red Prince is not present, search another Losomn roll; craft the permanent Assassin’s Dagger before leaving the roll that contains its quest item.
Common mistakes
Giving the quest dagger to the Council as evidence consumes the item needed for Nimue’s weapon craft.
Equipping the dagger but letting another weapon, summon, damage-over-time effect, or other source finish the boss does not meet the documented final-hit condition.
Offering the full three-coin tribute prevents the Red Prince fight and therefore the crown kill condition.
When to stop or switch
Stop once the Crown of the Red Prince appears in your inventory. Do not keep repeating the fight for this one-time reward.
