The named world boss arena in the relevant Yaesha, Losomn, N’Erud, or Root Earth roll
Before you go
- Know the weapon or mod you want and the material listed for its recipe.
- Have the world and dungeon roll that contains the named boss.
- Prepare for any alternate kill condition attached to the material.
Farming steps
- At Ward 13, check McCabe’s crafting options and note the exact boss material required.
- Use the material entry to identify the boss and whether a special kill outcome is needed.
- Roll or continue the relevant world, then follow its main route to the boss dungeon.
- Before fighting, review the boss arena mechanics and set up to meet the desired kill condition.
- Defeat the boss and collect the material that appears for that outcome.
- Return to McCabe and craft the weapon or mod using the named drop.
- A different kill outcome may yield a different crafting item; decide on the reward before the fight.
- Adventure Mode can reroll a completed world when its boss or storyline is absent.
Repeat, collect and use
The material is usually a one-time reward for that boss outcome per roll; reroll the relevant world to pursue it again if needed.
Common mistakes
- Fighting without checking the recipe: confirm the material first so you do not miss an alternate condition.
- Assuming Boss Rush awards the boss’s signature drop: use the actual world boss encounter for its unique material.
- Spending a unique material without comparing crafts: review McCabe’s options before using it.
When to stop or switch
Stop when McCabe has crafted the item you wanted; reroll only if you need another outcome or another copy.
