PC / Global full release build.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Where to farm
Earlier Kingdom biomes, reached during a run after claiming Aether’s Wings in the Kerguelen Plateau’s Far Shores room.
Aether’s Wings grants a permanent double jump. After obtaining it in the Far Shores room of Kerguelen Plateau, use later runs to backtrack through earlier biomes and inspect platform routes that a single jump could not reach. The room arrangement changes, so this is a search method rather than a fixed route or guaranteed chest payout. When you find a newly reachable chest, open it and collect its contents; carried gold can then support Manor upgrades after the run. This is an exploration loop for additional access, not another Heirloom unlock.
Claim Aether’s Wings from the Far Shores Heirloom room in Kerguelen Plateau.
Enter a later run with the double-jump ability available.
Have enough health to explore and clear the rooms you revisit.
Start a run after unlocking Aether’s Wings.
Use the map to identify connected rooms in an earlier biome.
Inspect ledges and gaps that could not be crossed with a single jump.
Use the double jump to reach accessible elevated platforms and continue through the route.
Check newly reachable rooms and platforms for chests.
Clear nearby threats, open any chest you find, and collect its actual reward.
Continue through connected rooms while the route remains safe, then spend carried gold on Manor upgrades after the run.
Farming tips
Room layouts vary, so use the current map and visible platforms instead of expecting a fixed chest location.
Aether’s Wings unlocks access; it does not guarantee that a chest or a particular reward will be present.
Repeat, collect and use
Aether’s Wings is a one-time permanent unlock. The backtracking search can be repeated on later runs, with chest locations and available routes depending on the generated layout.
Common mistakes
Searching for the Heirloom again after claiming it; use the double jump to explore routes instead.
Assuming every elevated platform hides a chest; check accessible rooms and collect only what is actually there.
Taking risky detours while low on health; return to safer rooms or end the search when the route is no longer worthwhile.
When to stop or switch
Stop backtracking when you have collected the reachable chest rewards in the current route or when further exploration risks ending the run.
