Fenmoor petrified wood and totems
Fenmoor swamp totem activity. Chop the green-ooze-marked active petrified tree, then bring logs to the central totem area.
Before you go
- Woodcutting 65 and Fletching 65 for the activity.
- Firemaking 63 for the basic activity.
- Access to Fenmoor in Havenhythe Part II.
Farming steps
- Find the petrified tree nodes marked by green ooze in Fenmoor.
- Chop the active tree and collect its petrified logs.
- Return to the central totem area with the logs.
- Choose the brazier if you want Firemaking progress from burning logs.
- Keep logs for the Fletching route if you want to make totems instead.
- Deposit the logs in the activity area, then fletch small, medium or large totems as available.
- Collect the activity rewards and return to the trees for another batch.
- Petrified logs cannot be portered or put in a woodbox, so bring them directly to the activity area.
- Choose burn or fletch before collecting a large batch; that keeps the skill focus clear.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat by gathering another batch of active-tree logs and processing them at the brazier or totem area.
Common mistakes
- Looking for ordinary trees: use the green-ooze-marked active petrified nodes.
- Trying to porter or box the logs: carry them to the local deposit area.
- Burning logs meant for totems: decide how you will process the batch before using the brazier.
When to stop or switch
Stop when you reach your Woodcutting, Firemaking or Fletching goal, or when the remaining logs no longer suit your chosen branch.
