Before you go
- Assembler and Smart Plating recipe unlocked.
- 1 Reinforced Iron Plate and 1 Rotor per standard batch.
Farming steps
- Produce or route Reinforced Iron Plates and Rotors to the same assembly area.
- Build and power an Assembler, then select the standard Smart Plating recipe.
- Connect each ingredient line to its own input and confirm both are supplied.
- Route the output to a container or belt that leads to the Space Elevator.
- Check the current Project Assembly demand before deciding how many parts to produce.
- Load the Space Elevator shipment when you are ready to submit the parts.
- Buffers on both inputs can smooth uneven delivery and make shortages easier to spot.
- Keep a separate count of parts reserved for shipment if other production also uses them.
- If you unlock Plastic Smart Plating, its batch consumes 1 Reinforced Iron Plate, 1 Rotor, and 3 Plastic for 2 parts.
Repeat, collect and use
Produce batches until you have the quantity needed for the planned shipment, then resume if another demand arises.
Common mistakes
- Searching for Smart Plating in the world instead of making it in an Assembler.
- Expanding production while one upstream input cannot keep up.
When to stop or switch
Stop or divert output once the planned shipment quantity is ready or the ingredients are needed elsewhere.
