Before you go
- Hazmat Suit recipe and Equipment Workshop access.
- Rubber: 50 per suit.
- Plastic: 50 per suit.
- Alclad Aluminum Sheet: 50 per suit.
- Fabric: 50 per suit.
- Iodine-Infused Filters for use in radioactive areas.
Farming steps
- Unlock the Hazmat Suit recipe and open the Equipment Workshop.
- Gather 50 Rubber, 50 Plastic, 50 Alclad Aluminum Sheets, and 50 Fabric.
- Select the Hazmat Suit recipe and complete the hand craft.
- Equip the suit in your equipment slot.
- Make or obtain Iodine-Infused Filters and place them in your inventory.
- Before entering a radioactive area, check that filters are available in your inventory.
- After leaving the area, replenish your filter supply before another trip.
- Keep spare filters near your radiation gear so you can prepare before leaving base.
- The suit consumes filters in radioactive areas, so plan a reserve for your trip.
Repeat, collect and use
Craft another suit only if you need another copy; replenish filters as they are consumed.
Common mistakes
- Entering a radioactive area with the suit equipped but no Iodine-Infused Filters in inventory.
- Trying to craft the suit in an Assembler instead of the Equipment Workshop.
When to stop or switch
Stop crafting when you have the suit coverage you need; leave a radioactive area when your filters are depleted or too low for your return.
