Excited Photonic Matter acquisition
Generate it in a Converter after unlocking the recipe and building. This is manufactured gas, not a resource node to mine or a gas well to tap.
Before you go
- Converter and Excited Photonic Matter recipe unlocked.
- Power for the Converter; its variable power range is 100–400 MW.
- A gas connection and Quantum Encoder demand.
Farming steps
- Unlock and place a Converter, then select Excited Photonic Matter.
- Connect power and make sure your grid can support its variable 100–400 MW demand.
- Attach the appropriate gas pipe output and route it to Quantum Encoder production.
- Start the Converter and confirm gas reaches the connected consumer.
- Use the gas in Quantum Encoder recipes such as Synthetic Power Shard or Superposition Oscillator.
- At 100% clock, use the listed rate of 200 m³ per minute to plan supply.
- The default recipe lists no ingredients and no coproducts.
- The listed Quantum Encoder uses also produce Dark Matter Residue; that is a downstream coproduct, not output from the Converter.
Repeat, collect and use
Run the Converter while Quantum Encoder demand continues; compare the gas line's 200 m³/min rate at 100% clock with actual consumption.
Common mistakes
- Searching for a natural Excited Photonic Matter deposit or well.
- Ignoring power demand or assuming the Quantum Encoder has no coproduct handling needs.
When to stop or switch
Stop or reduce Converter production when Quantum Encoder demand is met or the gas network cannot accept further output.
