WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Ionized Fuel acquisition

Unlock the unpackage recipe and use a Packager. Pipe the gas to generators or fluid storage, and route Empty Fluid Tanks to a separate output. Packaged Ionized Fuel is made through its own Packager recipe.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Build and power a Packager after unlocking Unpackage Ionized Fuel.
  2. Supply 2 Packaged Ionized Fuel for each batch.
  3. Connect the fluid output to Fuel-Powered Generators or a fluid buffer.
  4. Connect the solid output to storage or logistics for Empty Fluid Tanks.
  5. Select Unpackage Ionized Fuel and start the Packager.
  6. At 100% clock, plan for 80 m³ Ionized Fuel and 40 Empty Fluid Tanks per minute.
  7. For vehicle or Jetpack use, send the gas through the separate Packaged Ionized Fuel recipe.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep the Packager running while consumers need the gas and both output paths can accept production.

Common mistakes

  • Expecting the unpackage recipe to create Packaged Ionized Fuel instead of consuming it.
  • Ignoring the Empty Fluid Tank coproduct or trying to move the gas on a solid belt.

When to stop or switch

Stop or throttle when fluid storage is full, consumers are supplied, or the tank output is blocked.
