Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Produce Iron Rebar from Iron Rods in a Constructor.
  2. Produce Quartz Crystal from Raw Quartz in a Constructor.
  3. Build and power an Assembler, then select Shatter Rebar.
  4. Connect Iron Rebar and Quartz Crystal to separate inputs.
  5. Check that both materials enter the machine before waiting for output.
  6. Collect the ammunition or route it to storage, then load it for close-range use.

Repeat, collect and use

Run batches while both ingredients are supplied and your ammunition stock is below its target.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for Shatter Rebar as a world resource instead of manufacturing it in an Assembler.
  • Feeding only one ingredient and expecting the Assembler to produce ammunition.

When to stop or switch

Stop the Assembler when your reserve is full or either ingredient is needed by a higher-priority line.
