WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Rubber acquisition

Find Crude Oil with the on-page resource map, filter by Crude Oil, inspect node purity, and select an accessible node. Extract node oil with an Oil Extractor. Crude Oil also has wells; use the appropriate well extraction structure when gathering from a well. In randomized version 1.2 worlds, match your settings because the map shows standard layout.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Use the map's Crude Oil filter to locate available nodes or wells.
  2. Inspect node purity and choose an accessible node if using a node.
  3. Place an Oil Extractor on a node, or the appropriate extraction structure on a well.
  4. Pipe Crude Oil to a Refinery and select Rubber.
  5. Provide 3 m³ Crude Oil per batch; collect two Rubber and two m³ Heavy Oil Residue.
  6. Route Rubber to consumers and connect the residue output to a suitable use or disposal plan.

Repeat, collect and use

Check oil delivery, Rubber demand, and Heavy Oil Residue capacity whenever production changes.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for Rubber deposits instead of extracting Crude Oil and refining it.
  • Ignoring Heavy Oil Residue, which is a coproduct of the default Rubber recipe.

When to stop or switch

Stop expanding when Rubber demand is met and residue output can be handled continuously.
