Before you go
- Unlock the Chainsaw recipe.
- For one Chainsaw: 5 Reinforced Iron Plates, 25 Iron Rods, 160 Screws, and 15 Cable.
- Biofuel for operation.
Farming steps
- Gather or produce 5 Reinforced Iron Plates.
- Prepare 25 Iron Rods and 160 Screws; check the Screw stack before leaving your factory.
- Make or collect 15 Cable.
- Open an Equipment Workshop and select Chainsaw.
- Craft one Chainsaw and equip it.
- Load Biofuel before using the Chainsaw to clear difficult flora.
- The recipe is manually crafted equipment; it does not run in an automated production machine.
- Keep extra Biofuel in your inventory if you expect to continue clearing vegetation.
Repeat, collect and use
Craft another Chainsaw when you need a replacement or another unit, and replenish Biofuel as it is used.
Common mistakes
- Do not search for a Chainsaw node; craft it at the Equipment Workshop.
- Do not head out to use it without Biofuel, its listed fuel.
When to stop or switch
Stop crafting when you have the equipment needed for the clearing task; stop using it when the task is done or Biofuel runs out.
