- Unlock and place a Packager near the residue line and canister supply.
- Connect Heavy Oil Residue and Empty Canisters to its inputs.
- Select Packaged Heavy Oil Residue as the recipe.
- At 100% clock, each batch consumes 2 m³ Heavy Oil Residue and 2 Empty Canisters and outputs 2 packaged items; the listed rate is 30 items per minute.
- Send the output to the intended vehicle fuel or transport destination.
- Use Unpackage Heavy Oil Residue in a Packager to recover residue and Empty Canisters when the liquid form is needed.
