Encased Plutonium Cell acquisition

Make it in an Assembler after unlocking the recipe and building. It is not collected from a resource deposit. Plutonium Pellets and Concrete are the named inputs; arrange their production and delivery to the Assembler.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Unlock the Encased Plutonium Cell recipe and Assembler if they are not available.
  2. Produce or route Plutonium Pellets and Concrete to the production site.
  3. Place an Assembler and select Encased Plutonium Cell.
  4. Feed 2 Plutonium Pellets and 4 Concrete for each batch.
  5. Connect power and output belts, then send cells to Plutonium Fuel Rod production.
  6. At 100% clock, expect 5 cells per minute; adjust input supply to match.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep both inputs flowing; at 100% clock supply 10 Plutonium Pellets and 20 Concrete per minute for 5 cells per minute.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for a Plutonium Cell deposit instead of manufacturing it.
  • Ignoring the cell's radioactivity or starving the Assembler of either input.

When to stop or switch

Stop or throttle production when the intended fuel-rod line or safe radioactive handling capacity is full.
