Parachute acquisition
Craft Parachutes manually at an Equipment Workshop. There is no Parachute resource node to find. Make or collect Fabric and Cable before starting.

Before you go
- Equipment Workshop
- 20 Fabric and 10 Cable per Parachute
Farming steps
- Make sure you have 20 Fabric and 10 Cable for each Parachute you want.
- Open the Equipment Workshop and select the Parachute recipe.
- Craft a batch and check your inventory for the Parachute.
- Equip it in the appropriate equipment slot before setting out.
- While falling, activate the Parachute in midair to slow your descent.
- Craft an additional unit if you want a spare and have another full ingredient batch.
- The recipe yields one Parachute per batch.
- Make Cable from Wire in a Constructor; its recipe uses two Wire per Cable.
- The Fabric recipe uses Mycelia and Biomass in an Assembler.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat the manual recipe whenever you want another Parachute and have 20 Fabric and 10 Cable available.
Common mistakes
- Looking for a Parachute on a resource node instead of crafting it in the Equipment Workshop.
- Starting a batch without all 20 Fabric and 10 Cable, which are both required.
When to stop or switch
Stop once you have the Parachute you need equipped and any spare you want; each additional unit consumes another 20 Fabric and 10 Cable.
