Build a Manufacturer and unlock the Adaptive Control Unit recipe and building. Deliver the four named ingredients to it. Adaptive Control Units are crafted components, so do not search for a deposit.

Before you go
- Manufacturer building and recipe unlocked
- 5 Automated Wiring, 5 Circuit Boards, 1 Heavy Modular Frame, and 2 Computers per batch
Farming steps
- Unlock the recipe and place a Manufacturer with access to all four inputs.
- Supply Automated Wiring and Circuit Boards to separate input ports.
- Add Heavy Modular Frames and Computers to the remaining inputs.
- Connect an output belt or container for finished units.
- Send units to the Space Elevator for the project quota or reserve some for Assembly Director Systems.
- Watch each input buffer to identify the line limiting production.
- At 100% clock, the recipe consumes 5/min each of Automated Wiring and Circuit Boards, 1 Heavy Modular Frame/min, and 2 Computers/min.
- Output is 1 Adaptive Control Unit/min at 100% clock.
- Balance shared intermediates against other factories before raising machine speed.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep all four ingredient streams available and restock the lowest buffer first; retain the output for its active project or recipe.
Common mistakes
- Searching the world for Adaptive Control Units instead of making them in a Manufacturer.
- Treating the recipe as a two-input assembly and forgetting the Heavy Modular Frame or Computer supply.
When to stop or switch
Stop the Manufacturer when the required Space Elevator amount and any planned Assembly Director System reserve are covered.
