Farming steps
- Unlock the Homing Rifle Ammo recipe and build a powered Assembler.
- Provide Rifle Ammo, reserving 20 rounds for each batch.
- Connect a High-Speed Connector feed and keep 1 available per batch.
- Select the Homing Rifle Ammo recipe and start the machine.
- At 100% clock, allow 24 seconds per batch and expect 10 rounds per batch, or 25 per minute.
- Collect the rounds and load them for rifle use when needed.
- Check connector and ammunition stocks before increasing production.
- The ammunition is particularly suited to agile targets within your reticle area; carry a sensible reserve for combat.
- Separate its input stock from ordinary rifle use so the Assembler does not quietly consume all available ammo.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat production when your carried or stored reserve falls below your planned combat amount, provided connector supply remains available.
Common mistakes
- Looking for a natural ammo pickup as the main acquisition method instead of assembling it.
- Providing Rifle Ammo but omitting the High-Speed Connector, or overlooking that each batch yields 10 rounds.
When to stop or switch
Stop when your intended ammunition reserve is stocked or when connector supply is needed more urgently by other consumers.
