Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Unlock the Steel Pipe recipe if needed.
  2. Build and power a Constructor where it can receive Steel Ingots.
  3. Select Steel Pipe in its recipe list.
  4. Supply Steel Ingots; each standard batch consumes 3 ingots and produces 2 pipes.
  5. Route the pipe output to storage or directly to a consumer such as Stator production.
  6. If production pauses, check both the ingot feed and the pipe output route.

Repeat, collect and use

Keep ingots flowing and output space available. Continue production while your storage or connected lines need pipes.

Common mistakes

  • Searching the map for a Steel Pipe resource deposit instead of manufacturing the part.
  • Assuming the listed production rate will continue when the Constructor lacks ingots or has a blocked output.

When to stop or switch

Stop or reduce production when your pipe reserve and connected consumers are supplied.
