Use the on-page resource map to find Raw Quartz and compare the available sites for your build. The map shows the standard layout. Place a Miner on an accessible Raw Quartz node, then feed the ore to a Constructor with the default Silica recipe unlocked.

Before you go
- Accessible Raw Quartz node and Miner.
- Constructor and default Silica recipe unlocked.
- 3 Raw Quartz per batch.
Farming steps
- Locate Raw Quartz on the map and compare node purity before choosing a site.
- Place the correct Miner on the node and connect power.
- Transport Raw Quartz to a powered Constructor.
- Select Silica and check that Raw Quartz reaches the input.
- Send Silica to glass, aluminum, or another unlocked recipe that calls for it.
- Expand mining or transport if the Constructor is starved.
- One batch converts 3 Raw Quartz into 5 Silica; the listed 100% clock rates are 22.5 Raw Quartz and 37.5 Silica per minute.
- Optional alternate recipes that consume Silica are separate unlocks.
- The map displays the standard layout; use it as a guide to that layout.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep mining and conversion running while the destination stock is below target and quartz supply is steady.
Common mistakes
- Searching for a Silica node instead of processing Raw Quartz.
- Assuming an optional alternate recipe is available before unlocking it.
- Treating map locations as a guarantee for a layout other than the standard one shown.
When to stop or switch
Stop or throttle conversion when Silica storage is full or Raw Quartz is needed more urgently elsewhere.
