Modular Frame acquisition
Build an Assembler and select the default Modular Frame recipe. Supply it with Reinforced Iron Plates and Iron Rods, then send the output to storage or the next production line.

Before you go
- Assembler and Modular Frame recipe unlocked
- 3 Reinforced Iron Plates and 12 Iron Rods per batch
Farming steps
- Unlock the Assembler and Modular Frame recipe through progression.
- Arrange steady supplies of Reinforced Iron Plates and Iron Rods.
- Connect both inputs to the Assembler and verify the belts deliver the correct quantities.
- Run the default recipe: each batch consumes 3 Reinforced Iron Plates and 12 Iron Rods and yields 2 Modular Frames.
- Route the frames to framework production, equipment crafting, or a storage buffer.
- At 100% clock, the default recipe consumes 3 Reinforced Iron Plates and 12 Iron Rods per minute and produces 2 Modular Frames per minute.
- The alternate Steeled Frame recipe uses 2 Reinforced Iron Plates and 10 Steel Pipes for 3 frames per batch; unlock it before use.
- The alternate Bolted Frame recipe uses 3 Reinforced Iron Plates and 56 Screws for 2 frames per batch; unlock it before rerouting supplies.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep both inputs arriving and clear the output while downstream production needs frames. Check the selected recipe before changing input belts.
Common mistakes
- Looking for a Modular Frame resource node instead of building an Assembler line.
- Expecting an alternate recipe to be available before unlocking it.
When to stop or switch
Stop when construction, equipment, and downstream production have the Modular Frames they need.
