Uranium Fuel Rod acquisition
Build and power a Manufacturer, then select the Uranium Fuel Rod recipe. Each batch uses 50 Encased Uranium Cells, 3 Encased Industrial Beams, and 5 Electromagnetic Control Rods to make 1 rod. At 100% clock, production is 0.4 rods per minute and consumes 20 cells, 1.2 beams, and 2 control rods per minute.

Before you go
- Manufacturer and Uranium Fuel Rod recipe unlocked.
- All three ingredients supplied to the Manufacturer.
- A Nuclear Power Plant and a workable plan for removing or processing its Uranium Waste.
Farming steps
- Build a Manufacturer and connect power and ingredient supply lines.
- Select Uranium Fuel Rod and feed Encased Uranium Cells to an input.
- Supply Encased Industrial Beams and Electromagnetic Control Rods to the other inputs.
- Check that the Manufacturer can output and transport the finished rods carefully because they are radioactive.
- Send rods to a Nuclear Power Plant at a rate its operation can use.
- Before fueling the plant, arrange a functioning route for the radioactive Uranium Waste it produces.
- At 100% clock, supply 20 Encased Uranium Cells, 1.2 Encased Industrial Beams, and 2 Electromagnetic Control Rods per minute.
- Check waste capacity before increasing fuel production or plant operation.
Repeat, collect and use
Run rod production while the plant can use the fuel and the waste system can handle consumption.
Common mistakes
- Searching for fuel rods at a resource node; make them in a Manufacturer.
- Fueling a plant without arranging for radioactive Uranium Waste from consumed rods.
When to stop or switch
Pause rod production or stop supplying the plant if waste handling approaches capacity or any ingredient supply becomes unreliable.
