Farming steps
- Set up a Black Powder supply and route it to the Refinery.
- Produce or route Heavy Oil Residue through a connected fluid line.
- Select Smokeless Powder and connect both ingredient inputs.
- Power the Refinery and confirm both solid and liquid feeds are arriving.
- Route output to the relevant ammunition or Nobelisk production line.
- Monitor residue delivery and downstream demand as production runs.
- At 100% clock, reserve 10 m³ of Heavy Oil Residue per minute for each Refinery running continuously.
- Smokeless Powder feeds Explosive Rebar, Cluster Nobelisk, Rifle Ammo, and Nuke Nobelisk recipes.
Repeat, collect and use
Continue batches while the Refinery has both inputs and the destination needs more powder.
Common mistakes
- Searching for Smokeless Powder deposits instead of producing it in a Refinery.
- Treating Heavy Oil Residue as a solid input or forgetting to connect the fluid line.
When to stop or switch
Pause production when ammunition stock is sufficient or the residue supply is needed by a more important process.
