Collect Hatcher Remains from a Hatcher, then use an unlocked Constructor with the Hatcher Protein recipe. The Alien Remains reference can help identify the pickup type; collected remains do not imply a permanent farming route.

Farming steps
- Locate a Hatcher encounter using the Alien Remains reference for context.
- Defeat or otherwise safely handle the creature and collect its Hatcher Remains.
- Carry remains to a Constructor with the Hatcher Protein recipe unlocked.
- Feed remains into the Constructor and collect Alien Protein output.
- Reserve protein for inhalers, capsules, or biomass according to your current goal.
- Check remaining stored remains before setting up a continuous downstream line.
- At 100% clock, one Constructor consumes 20 Hatcher Remains/min and produces 20 Alien Protein/min.
- Protein can feed several different recipes, so buffer it before committing all output to one use.
- Collected creature remains are finite pickup stock, not a resource node.
Repeat, collect and use
Process available Hatcher Remains as needed and allocate the resulting protein to the most urgent medical or research use.
Common mistakes
- Searching the resource map for an Alien Protein node instead of converting Hatcher Remains.
- Assuming a collected creature site will respawn as a repeat route or supply unlimited remains.
When to stop or switch
Stop the Constructor when your available remains are exhausted or the desired protein stock is reached.
