Plutonium Waste acquisition
Collect Plutonium Waste from a Nuclear Power Plant that is consuming Plutonium Fuel Rods. Route it to safe storage or a verified processing setup.
Before you go
- A Nuclear Power Plant consuming Plutonium Fuel Rods
- Safe radioactive storage or a verified downstream processing setup
- Particle Accelerator configured for Ficsonium if using that route
Farming steps
- Inspect the plant output and identify the Plutonium Waste stream.
- Connect the output to safe storage or a processing line you have verified in game.
- If using Ficsonium production, check its recipe and capacity before starting the plant.
- Track the stored amount and the downstream process as rods are consumed.
- Adjust fuel delivery to keep waste output within the handling capacity.
- Check that the waste output is clear before increasing plant operation.
- Fuel Rod manufacture does not produce Plutonium Waste; plant consumption does.
- Ficsonium is a downstream use, but check its recipe and capacity in game before relying on it.
- Maintain an open destination for radioactive output while the plant runs.
Repeat, collect and use
As long as rods are consumed, monitor the waste destination and make sure it has capacity for continued output.
Common mistakes
- Treating Plutonium Waste as a resource-node pickup or a normally crafted item.
- Assuming Ficsonium provides unlimited waste disposal without checking the recipe and throughput.
When to stop or switch
Stop feeding Plutonium Fuel Rods before safe storage fills or downstream processing can no longer accept waste.
