Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Unlock the Iodine-Infused Filter recipe and build a powered Manufacturer.
  2. Supply 1 Gas Filter per batch.
  3. Route 8 Quickwire per batch to the machine.
  4. Provide 1 Aluminum Casing per batch.
  5. Select the filter recipe and run production; at 100% clock, output is 3.75 filters per minute.
  6. Collect the filters into storage, then move a reserve into your inventory.
  7. Equip the Hazmat Suit and check your inventory before entering a radioactive area.

Repeat, collect and use

Replenish your inventory after use and keep production aligned with your planned excursions.

Common mistakes

  • Entering a radioactive area with the Hazmat Suit equipped but no filters in inventory.
  • Forgetting either the Gas Filter or Aluminum Casing while supplying Quickwire.

When to stop or switch

Leave the hazardous area when filters are depleted or your remaining supply is too low for the return trip.
