Before you go
- A Converter with the Time Crystal recipe available.
- Diamonds delivered to the Converter.
- Power capacity and a clear output route.
Farming steps
- Unlock the Time Crystal recipe and build a Converter.
- Connect the machine to power and select Time Crystal.
- Supply Diamonds; each batch consumes 2 Diamonds and produces 1 Time Crystal.
- Route the output to storage or to a recipe that needs Time Crystals.
- Check the Converter and power grid if production pauses or the grid becomes unstable.
- At 100% clock, the standard recipe uses 12 Diamonds and produces 6 Time Crystals per minute.
- Converter power draw can vary from 100 to 400, so account for that range when planning your power supply.
- Diamonds are made from Coal in a Particle Accelerator.
Repeat, collect and use
Keep Diamonds supplied and the output clear while your downstream production needs Time Crystals.
Common mistakes
- Searching for Time Crystals as a resource node instead of converting Diamonds.
- Assuming a Converter has a fixed power draw and overlooking grid capacity.
When to stop or switch
Stop or reduce conversion once your Time Crystal reserve and connected consumers have enough.
