Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Set up delivery for all four required ingredients.
  2. Configure a Manufacturer for the standard Plutonium Fuel Rod recipe.
  3. Supply 30 Encased Plutonium Cells, 18 Steel Beams, 6 Electromagnetic Control Rods, and 10 Heat Sinks.
  4. Collect the one Plutonium Fuel Rod produced per batch.
  5. Before fueling a Nuclear Power Plant, prepare a safe destination for Plutonium Waste.
  6. Monitor the waste system while the plant consumes rods.

Repeat, collect and use

Make additional rods to match planned fuel use, while keeping safe waste handling capacity available for the plant.

Common mistakes

  • Searching for Plutonium Fuel Rod deposits instead of manufacturing rods.
  • Starting rod consumption without safe storage or a verified downstream plan for the resulting waste.

When to stop or switch

Stop feeding rods before safe Plutonium Waste storage fills or the downstream process can no longer accept waste.
