Coop Food Production
A Coop expansion at the Conservatory, stocked with Hen Hens and a Roostro.
Before you go
- Newbucks to build a Coop.
- Hen Hens and at least one Roostro.
- Carnivorous slimes whose diet accepts the Coop’s chicken output.
Farming steps
- Check the Slimepedia to confirm that the intended slime eats meat and identify its favorite prey.
- Build a Coop at the Conservatory.
- Vacuum Hen Hens and a Roostro from Rainbow Island and place them in the Coop.
- Leave the Roostro with the hens so the Coop can produce more Hen Hens.
- Collect mature Hen Hens from the Coop when available.
- Feed chickens to the intended meat-eating slimes, reserving their favorite prey for the right pen.
- Return to the Coop and let its stock replenish before the next feeding round.
- Keep a Roostro in the Coop; it is needed for Hen Hen multiplication.
- Avoid feeding every available Hen Hen at once. Maintain the breeding group so meat production can continue.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat collection and feeding as the Coop replenishes. This is a maintained production loop, not a one-time reward; reproduction depends on keeping the Roostro and hens together.
Common mistakes
- Building a Coop without a Roostro; acquire one and leave it with the Hen Hens.
- Treating every chicken as surplus; retain enough breeders to sustain the flock.
- Feeding chickens to slimes that do not eat meat; check diet first and direct the harvest accordingly.
When to stop or switch
Reduce collection or change the Coop’s use when its flock cannot keep up with the target Corral’s feeding needs; restore stock before increasing demand.
