The Conservatory Fabricator for the recipe, then Ember Valley for the module and any listed regional materials.
Before you go
- Access to the Fabricator and Refinery.
- A crafted Resource Harvester for collecting science materials from resource nodes.
- An open route to Ember Valley.
Farming steps
- At the Fabricator, select Extra Tanks and note the required resources and plort types shown there.
- Check your Refinery stock and identify what is still missing.
- Travel to Ember Valley and explore accessible areas for the Extra Tanks module and visible resource nodes.
- Use the Resource Harvester on eligible nodes, collecting materials that match the recipe.
- Return to the Conservatory and deposit any collected crafting resources and required plorts in the Refinery.
- Recheck the Fabricator recipe; make another targeted trip if listed ingredients remain short.
- Craft Extra Tanks when the Fabricator requirements are met, then equip the module in the Vacpack.
- Leave Vacpack slots available for the materials the recipe actually needs; avoid filling them with unrelated pickups.
- Use the Fabricator recipe as your checklist because this guide does not assume a fixed quantity or drop pattern.
Repeat, collect and use
The Extra Tanks unlock is a one-time upgrade. Repeat the gather, deposit, and recipe-check loop only while ingredients are still missing; later trips can target other Fabricator goals.
Common mistakes
- Searching for materials before checking the recipe; inspect the displayed requirements first.
- Trying to collect science nodes without Resource Harvester; craft and install it before the resource run.
- Continuing to gather after the recipe is complete; return to craft the module and switch to the next goal.
When to stop or switch
Stop this farming run once Extra Tanks is crafted and equipped, or switch to another goal if the Fabricator shows that a different missing ingredient needs attention.
