Where to farm
Fight > Personal File, on the unlocked file for an owned operative.
Personal Files provide a permanent, free progression route for operative shards. Focus the available Memory Chips on a unit you plan to keep building, then collect the stage result and apply the shards through that operative’s progression screen. The number of available runs depends on the interface and resource supply, so use what is actually available rather than assuming a daily allotment.
The operative is owned and its Personal File is unlocked.
The file displays an available shard stage.
You have Memory Chips for the displayed run.
Open Fight > Personal File and select the operative whose Manifestation you want to advance.
Check that operative’s shard progress and confirm more shards would serve your build goal.
Open the file’s shard stage and review its displayed cost and reward.
Spend the available Memory Chips to enter the stage.
Complete the encounter and collect its result.
Verify the Manifestation shard count in the operative’s progression screen.
Return to the file later when more chips or entries become available.
Farming tips
Concentrate chips on a core operative until you reach a meaningful milestone.
Check shard progress before every run so you know whether the target is near completion.
Repeat, collect and use
Repeat when the file offers another entry and you have Memory Chips; shard farming is incremental, and availability is not guaranteed to refresh daily for every operative.
Common mistakes
Choosing a unit without a current build plan: decide which operative benefits before spending chips.
Assuming all operatives have an available run: use the file screen’s actual availability indicator.
Leaving after the fight without collecting the result: confirm the reward and shard total.
When to stop or switch
Stop when the desired Manifestation milestone is reached, Memory Chips are depleted, or a different operative becomes the higher priority.
