WHERE & HOW TO FARM

Aegisalt, Violium and Ferozium

Tier 5 resources occur on Arctic, Midnight, and Tundra planets. Ferozium occurs on Extreme or Inconceivable threat planets; check a planet’s displayed threat before landing.

Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Check the recipe or station upgrade you want and note the specific ore it requires.
  2. Use the navigation console to select a planet with the required threat level and a hazard your EPP can handle.
  3. For Aegisalt or Violium, explore Tier 5 worlds such as Arctic, Midnight, or Tundra planets; for Ferozium, select an Extreme or Inconceivable world.
  4. Descend into caves and mine the target ore veins you find. Keep the three ore types separate so you can track your materials.
  5. Return to the ship when supplies run low or your inventory fills, then continue on that world or select another suitable planet.
  6. Smelt the ore at an appropriate furnace to produce its refined crafting material. Use a Refinery only for surplus ore you do not need for recipes.
  7. Take the refined material to the matching advanced station: Aegisalt for energy-focused gear, Ferozium for damage-focused gear, or Violium for health-focused gear.

Repeat, collect and use

Mining is repeatable, but each planet has finite deposits. Continue on suitable worlds until you have enough ore; process each haul and retain material needed for planned crafting.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming every Tier 5 world contains Ferozium; target Extreme or Inconceivable threat planets for that ore.
  • Treating Ferozium as exclusive to Extreme worlds; it is also found on Inconceivable worlds.
  • Using a Refinery on ore reserved for a recipe; set aside the required quantity before converting surplus to Pixels.

When to stop or switch

Stop when you have enough ore and refined material for the chosen recipe or station upgrade. Switch to another ore or progression target once that need is met.
