This one-time mission reward is the only Body Core not found on a fallen Angel body and contributes to permanent HP progression.
WHERE & HOW TO FARM
Collect the Roxanne mission Body Core
Roxanne beside Xion’s Bulletin Board; the Grand Turret is in the Great Desert northwest area near a destroyed ship.
Before you go
- Reach the Great Desert and complete the Alpha Naytiba encounter in Matrix 11.
- Raise Roxanne’s affinity through purchases until the mission is offered.
- Keep access to Xion and bring enough healing for the turret area.
Farming steps
- After defeating the Alpha Naytiba in Matrix 11, speak with Roxanne beside the Bulletin Board.
- If the request is unavailable, purchase items from her shop to raise affinity, then check again.
- Accept “An Offer You Can’t Refuse” and follow its objective to the Great Desert.
- Locate the turret near the destroyed ship in the northwest area.
- Use the west edge of the ship as cover, then shoot the barrels beside the raised turret platform to destroy the turret.
- Collect the dropped chip and verify the mission objective updates.
- Return to Roxanne in Xion and turn in the chip; collect the Body Core reward from mission completion.
- Use the destroyed ship for cover while targeting the barrels, rather than approaching the raised platform directly.
- Complete the request before moving beyond the story point that removes access to Xion’s city section.
Repeat, collect and use
One-time side mission reward per playthrough. New Game+ permits a fresh mission run; the same mission does not provide repeated cores in one run.
Common mistakes
- Searching for a Body Core at the turret: the core is awarded when Roxanne completes the mission.
- Attacking the turret without using cover: fire at the nearby barrels from the ship’s west edge.
- Waiting until after Xion access is restricted: unlock and finish the request while Roxanne remains reachable.
When to stop or switch
Stop after the chip is turned in and the Body Core reward is credited; move to fallen Angel pickups if you still need HP progression.
