Before you go

Farming steps

  1. Open the regional checklist and select a region with uncollected Body Core markers.
  2. Travel to a nearby camp and scan unfamiliar terrain; fallen Angel bodies are highlighted by the drone.
  3. Follow the marker to the body, defeat any nearby threat if needed, and collect the core directly.
  4. Update your checklist immediately so revisits target only missed sites.
  5. Repeat across the region, paying special attention to bodies near stairs, ramps, rubble, and upper platforms.
  6. Before advancing past a point of no return, review open-region and story-area markers that will become inaccessible.
  7. At 18 total cores, confirm the HP cap has been reached; treat any remaining core as surplus collection.

Repeat, collect and use

Each body pickup is one-time in a playthrough. New Game+ restores collectibles for another sweep; the HP cap is reached at 18 cores, though 20 exist including Roxanne’s reward.

Common mistakes

  • Assuming all 20 cores are required for maximum HP: 18 are sufficient for the cap.
  • Skipping scans in the Wasteland or Great Desert: bodies can blend into the environment, so scan systematically.
  • Advancing past story locks with uncollected markers: clear accessible regions before the relevant point of no return.

When to stop or switch

Stop the HP-focused sweep at 18 cores; continue only for completion, or switch to Beta Cores if you want more Beta Energy.
